The Pangos 2018 All-West Frosh/Soph Camp, had over 210 prospects competing this past weekend at Westminster. There was a high level of competition and good players weren't selected to play in the Cream of the Crop Top 30 and Top 60 games. That's not a bad thing. Some prospects left early, others may have been injured and one or two could have been on the bubble, sometimes it can be a numbers game.

The player I thought played outstanding basketball at camp was Davion Wright. A 6'1 class of 2022 prospect who attends Franklin High School in (Elk Grove CA). Davion is a strong point guard with strong handles and has the ability to shoot long 3 point shots and make them, at one point he knocked down 3 or 4 in one of his game. He has the strength to absorb contact on his way to the rim for finishes. He played consistent basketball throughout the camp. In my previous article I mentioned that at times I forgot these prospect were Freshman and Sophomores. Davion is a good basketball player who is going to showcase his skills and talent for Franklin when the season begins. He's going to play hard and compete because that's the kind of player I saw.
