Modesto Christian Hoop Holiday Classic

Modesto Christian wins the 24th Annual Christmas Holiday Classic Tournament. That makes four in a row for the Sac-Joaquin Section Powerhouse Program with 22 section titles. Wright's Basketball was in Modesto on Monday for the final 8 games of the tournament. The 16 team tournament played three consecutive days, December 26-28. Sunday was an off day. Monday was championship day.

Sac-Joaquin Section teams: Modesto Christian, Weston Ranch, Stockton, Vanden, Fairfield, Venture Academy, Stockton, Edison, Stockton, Manteca, Mountain House, Turlock, Downey of Modesto, and Pleasant Valley in Chico, from the Northern Section. Amador Valley, from Pleasanton, and El Capitan of Merced were first time participants.
