NorCal Standouts at Rock Hill Day 2

Wright's Basketball spent part of Wednesday in Rock Hill, South Carolina for the 2nd day of the 3SSB Palmetto Road Championships. We saw the early games before heading out. Here's some of our standouts in the games we watched


Team Lillard 17 lost a early morning contest (8:30) to a solid Team Loaded NC 17U 63-48

Alvin Loving, Ardarius Grayson, Elijah Perryman Jalen Stokes, Jasir Rencher, Kellen Hampton, Romyn Cummings, Tyriq McNeal. They'll regroup and get ready for pool play starting Thursday, the first two games were showcases. They went 1-1.


Team Lillard 16 rebounded from a blowout loss on Tuesday to lose a close one in overtime to New World 3SSB 64-62, they went 0-2 in showcase games.

Aiden Rollings was off to a good start before a foot injury put him on the sidelines, Elias Obenyah, Jaylen Smith, Josiah Andrews, Max VanLaningham , and Obinna Ezekie played well in a high level overtime loss.


Jalen Green Elite 16 took care of business with a 74-54 win over Compton Magic 16.

Will Corbett, and Myles Jones, a good guard combo led the way with Jaden Bailes, Sir Myles, Drew Anderson, David Kuol, Joven Dulay, Carlton Perrilliat, Parker Spees made contributions. Andre Gomez has been a steady contributor with this Compton Magic group. Jaylen Williams was a contributor off the bench.


Esface College Prep 17's put up a good battle. The size and athleticism of the Arkansas Hawks was too much to contend with at the end they lose 53-47. We did get good performances from Michael Ballout, Ryder Bush, Wyatt Von Blanco, Vincent Crisp, and Jeremiah Phillips off the bench.


Jalen Green Elite 17's took down Compton Magic 17 without Koa Peat, nonetheless it was a good win 69-62

Braddock Kjellesvig had a good performance along with Julius Olanrewaju, Lucas Isaak, with Winters Grady dropping a few key buckets.
